Summer of 2022, I sat in my room at an all-time low. Zero hope, zero friends, & zero desire to work in the typical industry as restaurants & life (plus my own decisions) completely broke me. But, one must be scorched to ashes before they can rise again. I sold my car & leisure (video games, etc) added that with my savings ($9k total), locked myself in my room (I'm still here) & decided to finally be what I always wanted. An empire owner that positively raises human evolution through the music industry.
Moon & Stars was born July 1st, 2022. A multi-medium conglomerate dedicated to taking artists into the cosmos. In providing all crucial production services musical artists need to build brand & transmit their project worldwide, we hold truth & authenticity at the most high. To infinity then beyond the Moon & Stars, we make the universe a better place by setting new bars.
We are as bootleg start-up as it gets! Proof that anyone can alchemize dust into gold. I concentrated all my systems, backend & cybersecurity coding, leadership, culture-building, & networking skills into this. We slay sharks, stereotypes & standards 25/8.
We only have one musician we manage now as Alternative Wave Magazine is the focus right now. It's the focus because it's the highest ROI move we can make with the goal of being huge in the music industry in mind. The one artist we have is YoungDumNumb. We met online through his music. his catalog falls in the alternative cyber rap/pop genre. I got on board doing this with him as i really enjoy his music. I have it on a lot of my personal playlists. I believe his music should be out there more & he does a lot of his branding and music creation on his own. I mostly run his backend systems to distribute his music to all major platforms, editing some music videos (he does a lot on his own as well), Pr & Marketing.
He is our very first "phoenix rising" in ALternative Wave Magazine. Phoenixes Rising are musicians based here in PHX, AZ who are grinding day in & day out on the AZ heat underground scene. We continuously follow them & rotate through our phoenixes rising lineup in the magazine with updates on what they have been up to since the last time we wrote about them.
This is my favorite music video we have made for YDN thus far. All remotely, we still haven't actually met up in person. he filmed this on his computer webcam & sent me the footage to get crazy with.
Up until this summer, Moon & Stars (& alt wave mag) have been breaking even. As of now, I’m only concerned with money enough to keep the lights on, the rest of my attention goes into skill building. I'm only 24 & one day i want to play ball with massive multi-billion dollar conglomerates such as Universal Music Group, Sony, & Warner Music Group.
I created this foundation of Moon & Stars working at it 10-14 hrs/day 6 days a week with 6-8 hrs/day on Sundays because Sunday is the day of rest for the past 2.5 years straight.
So far, we have 28 team members worldwide who all work for free part-time, with me coordinating & leading it all. We are all from different colors, classes, and creeds, whom by our actions & deeds combine our art to create a new industry standard. One not built from greed, but from grit, honor, & authenticity.
There are times when Moon & Stars will create assets to be featured in Alternative Wave Magazine. Strengthening the branding of both & expanding the spider web.
This is the first music remix & visualizer which was a hit amongst the fans of both artists involved in this remix. Rezz herself said that she really liked this remix. I was geeking when that info came through from her manager, that was bonkers. Music remixed & visualizer animation are both done fully by me in my bedroom with fairly suboptimal equipment, a very small budget, & a very fast turnaround time (4 days, idea to finish)
This is a lifelong project that I think of in terms of decades. It will be a very long, tough, & treacherous path to go down. Which is why it's time for me to double down on my skill-building. Our systems are very solid to where everything can run with me only needing to do 3-4 hours of work per day to keep up with the content we are putting out & the value we are providing to viewers.
